MUCHA ALPHONSE TABLE N. 46 from "DOCUMENTS DECORATIFS" published in Paris in 1901-1902 by Emile Levy, on a sheet (46x33).
Magnificent masterwork in the Art Nouveau style, it constitutes an encyclopedic repertoire of the Liberty style. In good condition, except for a tear about 6 cm on the top edge and folding marks on the right edge (as in the photo).
Mucha was the foremost example as well as one of the founders of the new aesthetic vision that distinguished the period bridging the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, laying the foundations for visual communication widely used to this day.
