This lot comprises two original large-scale paintings by Norwegian artist Johannes Rostad (1946–2022), created in 2005 as part of his “Primstav” series. The works form a coherent diptych and are intended to be presented together as a single visual composition.

Executed in oil on canvas, the paintings feature Rostad’s characteristic geometric abstract visual language, with symbolic and ornamental elements inspired by Nordic Primstav traditions.
