Beautiful talisman carved from a natural banded red agate from the ancient Central Asian culture, dating to the first millennium AD, measuring 71 mm high, 11 mm wide and 11 mm deep, in good condition with ancient hand-made drilled holes and signs of wear, provenance from a private collection, acquired in 1992 in Strasbourg from Dr. István Zelnik during his diplomatic mission in France and acquired in 2024 from another private collection, with legal ownership verified and shipment limited to the EU and to the UK or Switzerland.

In good condition. It was cleaned in a tumbler, so its surface is glossy and smooth, but retains the beautiful antique patina. Original, antique, hand-formed, cut, carved, drilled and polished. The holes are antique, handmade and irregular. Signs of use and age on the surface.
