Authentic corner chair – ca. 1920–1930
Stylish corner chair from the early 20th century, made in solid wood with original upholstery. The design betrays influences of the Amsterdam School and early Art Deco: clean lines, robust construction and artisanal detailing.
The chair is painted in royal blue; a nice detail is the brass plate with the supplier: De Ridder en zoon, Koningsplein in Amsterdam.
A characterful piece of furniture that adds charm to any interior – perfect as an accent chair, in a reading nook or foyer.
A rare piece of Dutch design from the interwar period, with a warm look and historical value.
