Description from the seller
This work by FANO is fully part of the pop art movement. It features Mickey and Minnie, complicit and joyful, on a background resembling an American Express card.
First, the background draws attention with its resemblance to a bank card. It incorporates the visual elements of an American Express card, but distorts them with humor. This setting symbolizes luxury, money and consumption.
Next, Mickey and Minnie appear at the center of the painting. They stand side by side, smiling and expressive. They seem to share a joyful moment. Moreover, each holds a colorful balloon in hand. These balloons reinforce the festive atmosphere of the scene. They bring lightness to the whole piece. Indeed, FANO plays here on the contrast between the innocent love of the two characters and the symbolic background. He blends tenderness and social critique.
Furthermore, the colors are vivid and saturated. Reds, yellows, and blues burst against the silver and dark background. This creates a strong visual effect, typical of pop art. Thus, the work attracts as much by its beauty as by its message. It evokes both popular culture, the consumer society, and the power of imagery. On the other hand, Mickey and Minnie are not simply

Artist biography:
Stéphan Ouzilou, known as Fano, has always lived his life on the fast lane. His strength lies in the creed: “Embrace life to the maximum”!
At 17, he meets the love of his life and they travel together to the Antilles where they will stay three years.
Three years that will confirm his artistic fiber and undeniable talent.
Indeed, starting from nothing, he quickly finds himself at the head of a fashion empire in the textile industry, after having created the “trapèze dress” adapting to all morphologies. Between Paris and the Antilles, he chooses to stay at the forefront by designing all the shop windows of the stores he opens himself, showing his boundless and ceaseless love for creation (he was the pioneer of the wooden articulated store mannequin avant-garde).
It is important to say that Fano grew up in the fashion industry, surrounded by big names like Gérard Darel.
