This is the first pancake‑style EF‑S lens of Canon, offering a versatile angle of view equivalent to 38mm on full‑frame cameras.
Weighing only about 125g, it is extremely compact and light, making it easy to carry anywhere without feeling bulky on the camera.
Its natural field of view makes it ideal for snapshots, portraits, landscapes, and a wide range of everyday shooting.
The use of an aspherical lens ensures high image quality across the entire frame.
