Macallan 12 years old Sherry Oak Casks - 700ml

A 12 year old Macallan Sherry Oak Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 40.0% vol. with the old equipment and the shiny-brown box - the multi-award winning classic from Macallan. The Macallan Sherry Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured for 12 years in hand-selected sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain, and was an integral part of the Macallan range for many years alongside the world-renowned 18 Years Macallan Sherry Oak Single Malt. In the last few years, however, it was only available in a few markets or could only rarely be found and was not officially distributed in Germany - in the meantime, Macallan has reintroduced the 12 Years Sherry Oak in a new design, but the seasoned sherry casks used were only allowed to be matured for up to 18 months in Jerez and do not exhibit the quality of the old bottlings.
