Mexican hat miniature in 925 sterling silver, diameter 7.5 cm, height 5 cm, origin Mexico, dating to the mid-1960s, in good used condition with minor signs of wear.

Exclusive miniature Mexican hat made of sterling silver in the second half of the 20th century.
It is a piece of Mexican metalwork of purity .925 that represents a charro hat. It features a circular wide-brim structure that curves at the edges, topped by a braided cord. It showcases meticulous repoussé work with vegetal motifs and a cactus engraved on the front.
Dated approximately to the mid-20th century, this piece reflects artisanal tradition with hand chiselings and engravings with natural patina.
Originally conceived as a display piece or luxury souvenir, today it functions as a collectible for silver enthusiasts or as a decorative element in showcases and on shelves. Its scale makes it ideal to be exhibited alongside coins, silver figurines, or similar miniatures.
With the silver mark "Sterling 925", the silversmith’s stamp and the inscription "hecho en Mexico".
