Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Cartier fountain pen in gold-plated textured finish from the Le Must line, of French origin, 13.7 cm long and 1.6 cm in diameter, serial 112033, dating to the late 20th century, one item, in good used condition and in working order with the original Cartier case.
Description from the seller
The pen is in very good overall condition, showing outstanding aesthetic presence and fully in line with a Cartier collectible piece.
The texturized gold plating retains its uniform shine and tonal depth, with no visible plating losses or worn areas. The original texture remains well defined, contributing that characteristic luminous effect that distinguishes the Le Must line. Only micro superficial signs of use are noted, consistent with the passage of time and appreciable only under close inspection.
The cap and body maintain proper alignment, with no play or deformations. The decorative plate and the gold details are well defined. The serial number is legible and properly engraved.
The nib presents a good structural appearance, with aligned tines and no visible deformations. It retains its gold finish and no structural damage is observed. (A cleaning and fine adjustment are recommended if optimal performance is desired after prolonged storage).
The original Cartier case is included and shows light external storage signs, while the interior remains in proper condition.
Overall, this is a well-preserved, elegant piece ready to be part of a demanding collection or to return to active writing with a simple tune-up.
Happy bidding!
