Description from the seller
I_KONIQ (1969) - (stage name of Lijuk Crem) is a polyhedral artist who set out on his journey into the world of printing and graphics in 1988. His career began in offset printing and rose to become CEO of a major typography company in northern Italy, tripling its turnover in a few years, where he gained solid knowledge of printing techniques and visual dynamics.
Over the years, Lijuk has widened his field of action, exploring new artistic possibilities and ranging from pop art to visual reinterpretations of famous figures. His style is distinguished by a unique fusion of pop culture, references to iconic tradition, and bold use of colors. Just as Andy Warhol did with Campbell’s cans, or Mario Schifano with COCA-COLA, Lijuk reinterprets familiar images, elevating the ordinary to extraordinary through the use of modern graphic techniques and visual irony.
Each of his works is a tribute to the iconography of popular culture, but at the same time, I_KONIQ manages to imprint his own personal vision, challenging and reinventing the very idea of celebrity and of a visual icon.
Today, Lijuk’s work stands as a testament to how graphic art can evolve, maintaining its communicative strength intact while renewing it with a fresh and innovative outlook.
Each work is sold hand-signed on the front and numbered (on the white side of the edge) so as not to spoil the beauty of the piece but to give it its correct value.
The print is produced with the giclée technique in 12 passes in Digital Fine Art on premium glossy cotton canvas 380 g/m2.
To preserve colors over time, every piece is handmade and varnished with a special treatment for light, to enhance colors and protect against deterioration over time.
Each artwork is shipped in a rigid cardboard tube to safeguard and protect your new purchase and, in addition to the artwork size, includes a side border for framing on the wooden frame, allowing a lateral thickness of 4 centimeters and a further outer border of over 4 cm that remains white for fastening to the back of the frame (not provided).
All of the works by our artists are the result of creative hands and diverse cultures, even though they all come together, merging into a unique harmony.
