Ebel pocket watch with an 18K yellow gold case concealed inside a 1904 $20 gold coin, 35 mm diameter, quartz movement, gold dial, leather strap, reference 896004/95, from the 1980s, very good condition with minor wear, original box included, original papers and warranty not included.

Rare and unusual 18K yellow gold pocket watch by Ebel. It's cleverly concealed within a $20 Liberty Head gold coin. Features a manual wind movement. 35mm diameter. Beautifully made and very collectible.
WHY THIS WATCH
This gorgeous 18k timepiece features a United States Federal Reserve $20 Gold Coin, which is dated 1904, as the front enclosure of this flip-open wristwatch. The entire case, including the bezel, crown and lugs, is crafted from 18K Yellow Gold and measures approximately 35mm in diameter. Upon pushing the button on the edge of the case, the coin face pops open and reveals the inner watch face, which can flip up vertically on a hinge. This hidden Manual-Wind timepiece arabic markers at 3/5/9.
THE LITTLE DETAILS
Watch is 35mm in diameter. Watch is in overall excellent conditon, as the coin edges of the case are not easily scratched. Pressing the button on the edge of the case disengages the front face from the watch, allowing you to hinge the front face open. The Ebel watch inside is winding and setting correctly.
