Wall decoration - Two hand-carved wooden panels, late 19th/early 20th century, France.
No reserve price.
Originally part of: a large antique piece of furniture (cabinet, sideboard, wardrobe), or interior decorative doors.
Measurements: 94 x 35 x 2,5 cm. each panel.
Total weight: 6 kg. approx.
Material: solid wood (probably chestnut judging by the grain, hardness, and age).
Format: symmetrical pair.
Decoration: rich hand carving in high and medium relief. Vegetal motifs and scrolls clearly inspired by the baroque style. Symmetrical and vertical composition, very well balanced.
Condition: excellent condition with minimal signs of use and aging, typical of its age. The items you will receive are the ones that has been photographed.
