Descrizione del Lotto
In asta una splendida scatola decorativa, magistrale esempio della tradizione dell'intarsio sorrentino. L'oggetto è realizzato in pregiata radica di noce, caratterizzata dalle tipiche e calde venature "occhiute" del legno, che donano profondità e prestigio al pezzo.
Il coperchio presenta una lavorazione artigianale di altissimo livello:
Al centro: Un medaglione sagomato con una scena figurativa intarsiata (probabilmente raffigurante figure in costumi d'epoca o scene pastorali), realizzata con legni di diverse essenze per creare sfumature naturali.
Cornice: Una ricca greca geometrica in stile "micro-mosaico" circonda la scena centrale, incorniciata da bordi in legno scuro che ne esaltano il disegno.

Materiale: Radica di noce, intarsi in acero e altre essenze lignee.
Origine: Sorrento, Italia (Manifattura artigianale).
