Description from the seller
Sansui AU-D11
Integrated stereo amplifier (1983-1984)
Sansui AU-D11
Description:
The AU-D11 is Sansui's best integrated amplifier. It features the company's 'super-feedforward' design, which combines the properties of feedback and feedforward circuits to achieve extremely low distortion without the potential issues that come from using very large amounts of negative feedback. The amplifier's rated power of 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms over 10 to 20,000 Hz with total harmonic distortion not exceeding 0.005% is a clear example of the refinement of its design. Few other amplifiers, if any, offer such low distortion over such a broad frequency range. While the audible benefits of such low distortion levels are debatable, the result is nonetheless noteworthy.
The new extraordinary Ground Free Circuit encompasses all advances in amplifier technology, including Diamond Differential DD/DC and Super Feed Forward circuits.
Together, these technologies deliver an incredibly natural and realistic sound reproduction, making the AU-D11 perfect for modern digital audio sources.
Moving-coil transformer with high signal-to-noise ratio. Recording selector. Bidirectional duplication on tape for two decks. Turnover frequencies selectable for bass and treble. Push-button input selectors with LED indicators.
