19th-Century Chinese Hexagonal Wu Shuang Pu Porcelain Teapot – 13 cm
Elegant hexagonal porcelain teapot decorated with finely hand-painted figures from the Wu Shuang Pu (“Table of Peerless Heroes”), each panel featuring a different historical or legendary character with accompanying calligraphy. The enamels are executed in vibrant famille-rose tones typical of late Qing dynasty workmanship.
Height: 13 cm.
Condition: The lid shows an old restoration, and there is a small chip on the rim where the metal fitting is inserted. Minor wear consistent with age.
