Absolutely fantastic pair of wall-mounted consoles, large in size, quite striking.
All in hand-carved wood, covered with fine gold leaf, with a warm and splendid sheen.
Of Portuguese origin, from the mid-20th century, they are both in very good condition, only minimal signs of use and a lovely patina.
(One of them appears to be cracked at the back, but it is not a break, just a natural crack in the wood, which sometimes appears over its lifetime).
