The composition is based on anthropomorphic abstraction. The human figures have been reduced to monumental block forms, where the line between the two bodies almost blurs. This "fusion" symbolizes a deep, hushed connection. The angular shoulders and the abstract, cylindrical heads recall the early work of great masters such as Henry Moore or the geometric experiments of the 1960s. The strength of the work lies in mass and void: the way the shadows fall into the deep grooves between the figures gives the object an architectural quality.
