A. Kaiser Saltarello pocket watch with a jump hour complication, manual wind movement, 50 mm silver case, circa 1910–1930, in very good condition and in working order.

Rare pocket watch “Saltarello” with jumping hours – Système A. Kaiser Patented (circa 1910–1930)
Elegant and sought-after pocket watch with jump hour complication, signed A. Kaiser and equipped with the famous Système Breveté, one of the most fascinating and innovative mechanisms of the era.
The dial presents three apertures:
• Jumping hours in the upper window
• Minutes on a central rotating disc
• Small seconds in the lower window
All enriched by incised floral decorations, typical of the Art Nouveau/Art Deco style.
The movement, stamped PATENT A. KAISER, is perfectly consistent with the original models and shows clean, well-preserved mechanics. The complication operates via an instantaneous hour-jump system, rare for the period and highly appreciated by collectors.
