Description from the seller

Leica D-LUX Silver First Generation 18237 with leather case. Becoming rare.

The camera is in good condition and shows signs of use. The camera works fully; the flash and shutter function perfectly. The delivery includes the original red leather Leica case, a battery and a charger.

The Leica D-Lux (item number 18237) is the first generation of the D-Lux series and was introduced in 2003 as a high-quality compact digital camera. It features a 1/2.5-inch CCD sensor with 3.2 megapixels and a fixed built-in Leica DC Vario-Elmarit ASPH 5.8–17.4mm f/2.8–4.9 zoom lens, corresponding to about 35–105mm in 35mm equivalent. The camera is largely designed to be automatic and offers autofocus, programmed auto exposure, built-in flash, optical viewfinder and an LCD screen at the rear. Images are stored on SD/MMC cards; the ISO values range from 50–400. The compact metal construction clearly reflects Leica's early digital design language.
