Description from the seller

GENERAL:

Are you looking for a classic that not only looks stunning but also delivers performance that greatly surpasses the standard? This unique Triumph TR6 is a rare sight that blends passion, character and engineering seamlessly. It is a genuine driver's car with a heavily upgraded engine and a carefully documented maintenance history.

BODYWORK & PAINT:

The bodywork is in a very neat and well-maintained condition. The paintwork presents itself beautifully with a deep gloss and an even finish, fitting the look of a well-restored classic. The panels fit correctly and the car makes a clean and balanced impression.

TECHNICAL:

Under the hood lies the true secret of this TR6. Where the standard versions stop, this Triumph clearly goes one step further. Thanks to several high-quality mechanical modifications, the 2.5-liter six-cylinder delivers over 145 hp, making it significantly faster and more powerful than the original fuel-injected versions. The engine is equipped with triple Weber carburetors that ensure immediate throttle response and a distinctive sound, a hotter camshaft for an improved torque curve and extra power, and a spaghetti exhaust manifold for optimal gas outlet. In 2025 a new stainless sport exhaust was also installed, providing a deep, sporty sound without compromising on quality or durability. Technically the car is in top condition; recently over €4,000 of specialist maintenance was carried out at the renowned Triumph Centre in Zwaagdijk. All invoices are present and underline the careful technical state of the car.

INTERIOR:

The interior is well-kept and preserved, matching the character of the car. The upholstery, seats, dashboard and other interior components are in neat condition and contribute to the authentic driving experience that this British roadster offers.

DOCUMENTS:

The car is delivered with a documented maintenance history. All relevant invoices, including those of the recent specialist maintenance, are present and available for inspection.

PICK-UP:

The Triumph TR6 is available for viewing by appointment. Further details regarding pick-up and any transport options can be discussed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Since the nineties this roadster has been driven on Swedish roads, a country known for its care of classics. In that period the car was fully restored with attention to detail and quality. On request there are additional photos and videos available showing the car driving and with the engine running and audible.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
