Description from the seller

The device is in good condition! Barely used! Everything works! Looks like new! No scratches! The remote control is original. The remote control has fresh batteries! The device is well packaged! Vinyl enthusiasts can go for the R-S300: Yamaha HiFi has equipped the stereo receiver with a phono input for MM cartridges, meaning a separate phono preamp is unnecessary.
Subwoofer output and docking port
In addition to the phono input for turntables with MM cartridges (MM = Moving Magnet) and the ground terminal used to earth the turntable, there are four analog audio inputs for CD players, tape decks, and similar sources. The rear is also equipped with two line outputs for recorders, a subwoofer output, and two jacks for the supplied FM or MW antenna. Finishing off the set of connections are screw-down speaker terminals for four speakers and a proprietary interface through which you can connect a universal dock (YDS-12) for iPod and iPhone, a wireless transmitter (YID-W10) – also for Apple players – or a Bluetooth adapter named YBA-10. In combination with the Bluetooth adapter YBA-10, audio signals from A2DP-capable notebooks, mobile phones, and MP3 players can be played wirelessly.
Output power and sound optimization
On the back there is a switch to adapt the amplifier to the impedance of the speakers. If you choose bi-wiring operation – here the speakers are double-wired – and connect speakers with eight ohms or higher, set the switch to “High.” For speakers with 4 ohms or higher, the “Low” setting is recommended. According to the manufacturer, both channels provide a maximum output of 55 watts into four ohms. In terms of sound optimization, the company relies on separate controls for bass, treble, and balance, and there is also a front-panel continuously adjustable loudness control that raises the level of the low and high frequencies, which can still yield a “full and clear” sound even at low volume. If you want the audio signal to be reproduced as faithfully as possible, activate the Pure Direct mode.
Flexible is the Yamaha R-S300: it is suitable for bi-wiring operation, scores with a phono input and with a proprietary interface for external docks.
