Biography:
Daniela Scanu, born in the city of Brescia in 1976, since childhood she displayed a marked creative talent, guiding her to studies in fashion and drawing. She attended the IPSIA Fortuny in Brescia, obtaining a diploma as stylist and figure designer.
Subsequently, she did not continue in the fashion sector, but pursued sports studies that allowed her to become an international pole sport judge and sports instructor.
She taught for many years at sports centers and dance schools:
Pole sport, aerial hoop, yoga, Caribbean dances, Oriental dances, ballroom dancing, yoga.
Thanks to her great tenacity and determination she has achieved excellent results as an international athlete.
Among the most notable are
1st place in Tortosa, Spain at the "WSG 2019",
2nd place in Finland at the "Championship 2019".
But her true vocation remains the art of photography, that silent love, which, thanks to dance and sport, she continues to cultivate, especially exploring artistic nude, portraiture, conceptual photography.
Daniela Scanu’s photographic world is capable of stunning and captivating the viewer; her particular sensitivity and powerful expressive sense reach a point of strong convergence between artistic photography and painting and sculpture.
The ability to translate a body into universal iconographies through which travel emotions and personal introspection.
The human body becomes the vehicle for transporting the soul, an expression of pain, but also of great inner rebirth.
