Biography:
Daniela Scanu, born in the city of Brescia in 1976, from a young age she reveals a marked creative aptitude, which leads her to studies in fashion and drawing; she attends the IPSIA Fortuny Institute in Brescia, earning the diploma of stylist and costume designer.
Subsequently, she does not continue in the fashion sector, but undertakes sports studies that allow her to become an international judge of pole sports and a sports instructor.
She teaches for several years at sports centers and dance schools:
Pole sport, aerial hoop, yoga, Caribbean dances, Oriental dances, ballroom dancing, yoga.
Thanks to her great tenacity and determination she achieves excellent results as an international athlete.
Among the most notable achievements we recall:
First place in Tortosa, Spain at the "WSG 2019",
Second place in Finland "Championship 2019".
But her true vocation remains the art of photography, that quiet love which, thanks to dance and sport, she continues to cultivate, delving specifically into artistic nude, portraiture, conceptual photography.
The photographic world of Daniela Scanu is able to astonish and enchant the viewer; her particular sensitivity and powerful expressive sense reach a strong convergence between artistic photography and painting and sculpture.
The ability to translate a body into universal iconographies through which travel personal emotions and introspection.
The human body becomes the vehicle for the soul’s journey, an expression of pain, but also of great inner rebirth.
