This signed print measuring 40x32 cm is part of a limited edition (/25). It comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The artist has exhibited in numerous contemporary art fairs in France and abroad. Her widely recognized photographic work is present in private collections. She has won international prizes, enabling recognition within the art world.

Amber series:
In a watery ballet, a woman with flame‑colored hair, clad in a diaphanous dress, seems to blend with the blue, luminous wave that surrounds her. Each movement, imbued with grace, evokes a nereid dancing in the depths, where mystery and beauty mingle. The transparency of her dress caresses the water, revealing a delicate sensuality, while the light plays across her silhouette with subtle and enchanting poetry. A suspended scene, between dream and reality, where elegance flirts with eternity.

Lou’s photographs resemble enigmas. Bodies are dismembered, blurred; they reveal themselves or hide, to tease what we think we know about them in order to tell something else. But tell what? First and foremost, impressions: in the Opaline series, the fleeting happiness of an apparition, that of a solitary landscape fragment stolen from darkness […] What remains of the body is really the eroticism of this skin photographed, with a great deal of modesty, like a caress, delicate as a whisper. By becoming nothing but pure form, pure image composition, its surface expresses the invisible animating it, yet refuses to name it. It is content to be a search of the gaze, this quest of the gaze as metamorphosis.
