Description from the seller

This device is a vintage Vorwerk VKM 5 blender from around 1961. The designation "Type 15" that you mention is specific to the Vorwerk VKM 5, Typ 15, a model that was produced circa 1967 in the then Federal Republic of Germany (FRG / West Germany).

This particular model is known as the predecessor of the modern Thermomix. At the time, the appliance offered several functions, including stirring, kneading, chopping, grating, blending, and milling. It features a glass mixing bowl with a 1-liter capacity and a housing made of cream- and green-colored plastic.

The Vorwerk VKM 5 was a very versatile machine for its era. In the manual and marketing from that time, seven main functions were emphasized [6]:
Mixing: For milkshakes, sauces, and batter.
Chopping: For vegetables, herbs, and meat.
Grinding: Powerful enough for coffee beans, grains, and nuts.
Grating: For hard ingredients like cheese (Parmesan) or breadcrumbs.
Stirring: For mixing liquids and light mixtures.
Kneading: Suitable for light doughs.
Juicing: By finely grinding fruit and vegetables into a liquid substance.

Technical operation
Three speeds: The dial on the base has three settings (150, 275 and 400 watts) to adjust power to the hardness of the ingredient.
Glass mixing bowl: The heavy bowl is heat-resistant, so it can also be used for puréeing hot soups.

In good working order.
The glass is somewhat damaged by scratches.
With accompanying recipe book and manual.

Comes from 1967, Germany.

Weighs about 4 kilograms.
Heavy-duty quality.

Total height: 48 cm
Bowl itself is 23 cm deep (1 liter), diameter 14 cm.

Blender is 17 cm wide.

Pickup possible in Gouda,
Shipping well packaged. Medium-sized parcel.
