4 Large Neolithic Flint Tools (6-9 cm) – Old French Collection with Original Find-Spot Labels

Technical Description:
An exclusive selection of four lithic implements dating to the Neolithic period, expertly crafted from high-quality flint with diverse patinas and mineralizations. These specimens are distinguished by their size, integrity, and the clear evidence of pressure and percussion flaking techniques.

Specimen 1 (9 cm): Large flint scraper/knife in light grey flint, featuring an original handwritten label: "Passy en Valois - Main Travail".

Specimen 2: Massive flint tool with a cream-colored patina, labeled "Bruyères sur Fère".

Specimen 3: Robust scraper in grey flint with original "Epieds" find-spot label.

Specimen 4: Bi-colored flint tool with a dark core and natural peripheral cortex, displaying excellent aesthetic appeal.

Context and Provenance:
These artifacts originate from an old and prestigious French private collection 1970 .
The presence of original, period-correct handwritten labels confirms their specific provenance from the Aisne Valley and Valois regions. Such documentation significantly enhances the historical and collectible value of the set.

Condition:
Excellent archaeological condition. No modern restorations. All pieces retain their original Neolithic flake scars and authentic patina.
