Centrepiece - Enamelled porcelain - Late Art Deco

Exceptional centerpiece in bronze and enameled porcelain, made in the 1940s/1950s, from a private collection in Central Europe.

The piece rests on a solid bronze base richly ornamented with vegetal and architectural motifs. The most captivating aspect of its design are the two lateral handles, cast with the figure of angels or cherubs with wings that seem to emerge from the scrolls, giving the whole a celestial and regal air.

The central body is a high-quality porcelain piece with a two-tone glaze. On the exterior a deep brick-red tone with gradient nuances. And on the interior a soft cream-beige finish that highlights the purity of the festooned form of the bowl.
