Description from the seller

AUSTRIA. Vienna. 6 Kreuzer. 1849. Franz Joseph I (1848-1916)

- Value: 6 Kreuzer.
- Reign: Franz Joseph I (1848-1916).
- Year: 1849.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: Imperial shield crowned with a bicentennial eagle and the legend SCHEIDE MÜNZE · K. K. - OESTERREICHISCHE. Reverse: 6 KREUZER · 1849 · A.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).

Silver 6 Kreuzer coin minted in Vienna (mint A), with the crowned imperial shield atop a double-headed eagle, in a heraldic, highly detailed and compact design, surrounded by a circular legend. The reverse presents the value 6 KREUZER in sober and balanced typography, with the year in the exergue and the mint mark below. The piece shows crisp relief and well-preserved surfaces, with the original luster visible in the fields and a homogeneous gray-silver patina. Subtle surface marks typical of handling are visible, consistent with its MS63 grade, maintaining an attractive overall numismatic presence within the first year of Franz Joseph I's reign.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
