- Year: 1945.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: MAGYAR ÁLLAMI VÁLTÓPÉNZ and view of the Parliament Building. Reverse: 5 PENGŐ · 1945 · BP with crowned shield and stalks of wheat and grape.
- Grading: MS64 (NGC).
5 Pengő silver coin with a detailed depiction of the Budapest Parliament on the obverse, executed in a precise architectural style, with fine lines that highlight the central dome and the side towers in a horizontal perspective. The reverse shows the crowned national coat of arms, flanked by stalks of wheat and clusters of grapes, symbolizing prosperity, with the value 5 Pengő emphasized at the bottom. The specimen features sharp, well-defined reliefs, with original satin luster on the fields and high surfaces, accompanied by a light uniform silver patina. The minimal visible marks are in keeping with its MS64 grade, preserving a very attractive and balanced presence within the postwar Hungary context.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to be absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
