Description from the seller

A rediscovered masterpiece: an oil on canvas from the 19th century.
Originating from a family inheritance, this extraordinary oil painting on canvas is ready to find a new home. Bought by my father a long time ago, it is a work that captures the gaze and enchants the spirit.

It is a timeless work of art. Created in the 1800s, of English school, it could be attributed to a well-known English painter. This painting expresses the spirit of an era while preserving a freshness and vitality that keep it current. The unmistakable style, the generous dimensions of the canvas (cm. 51x76); it bears no signature, but on the back, as well as an accompanying paper label, at the bottom of the canvas one can read that the canvas is stamped London and there are other inscriptions; all of which attest to its authenticity and importance.

The painting shown in the image is an oil on canvas in Victorian style or the British school of the 19th/early 20th century. Visually similar works often depict rural scenes of the Scottish Highlands or English landscapes with cottages and figures, attributed to artists such as Charles M.C. Kinley, Alfred Coleman, or sometimes broadly labeled as a "British School." The work depicts a rural landscape with a thatched cottage, human figures, animals, and mountains in the background, typical of the landscape art of the era. The style is realistic and romantic, focused on the natural setting and countryside life, popular during the 19th century.

It is a versatile piece that fits into any environment, lending it a sophisticated and refined atmosphere. Its grandeur and beauty make it a focal point in any room, adding a touch of elegance and prestige. It is the details that make the difference. With a non-contemporary perimeter frame. The painting is in generally good condition, which underscores its authenticity and history.
An investment for the future, not only to enrich one’s art collection but also as a forward-looking investment. Quality artworks, especially those by established artists, tend to appreciate over time.

Shipping will be carried out with a well-known tracked and insured courier, while the packing will be done in a professional and generous manner."
