Robert Capa, pseudonym of Endre Ernő Friedmann (Budapest, Hungary, October 22, 1913 – Thai Binh, Vietnam, May 25, 1954), was a Hungarian war photographer and photojournalist of the 20th century. He left Hungary at the age of 17. He traveled around the world in search of the best shots for his camera. This took him to Mexico, Italy, France, Japan, Indochina, Vietnam, Israel, England, and North Africa.
