Svitlana Andriichenko - Fortitude.A63

"Fortitude.A63". Resilience is a trait that determines the ability to withstand external influences. This is perseverance, the desire to achieve a goal. It manifests itself in especially difficult and dangerous circumstances, in the struggle with unusual difficulties. Under these conditions, a person with persistence achieves his goal. In creating this piece, I embraced the raw, unfiltered chaos and beauty of emotion, layering oil paints thickly to capture an intense, storm-like atmosphere. The contrast of grays and bursts of warm colors reflect resilience and strength amidst turmoil. This painting is a testament to enduring spirit, and it will bring a sense of depth and dynamic energy to any space, invoking contemplation and a connection to the visceral elements of life. The painting depicts the struggle of good over evil and dedicates to all people, who every day in the battle for their freedom and independence show courage, kindness and humanity towards each other. An oil painting on canvas (unframed), with mounting hardware included. Hand-painted entirely with high-quality oil paints using a custom-made palette knife. A certificate of authenticity is included. Shipped in a cardboard box. Svitlana Andriichenko is a Ukrainian painter currently based in Cologne, Germany. Her work serves as a vibrant bridge between personal experience and visual expression. After a long career in the legal field (20 years of experience as a prosecutor), she returned to her artistic roots in 2014. Her move to Germany in 2022 marked a significant new chapter, further influencing the emotional depth found within her canvases. Working with oil paints, Andriichenko employs a physical and tactile approach. She utilizes impasto techniques, applying thick layers of pigment with palette knives and specialized tools to build a rich, sculptural surface. This material intensity allows her to move beyond mere mimicry of the natural world. She constructs a subjective reality where color and texture take precedence over traditional form. Her compositions often oscillate between energetic abstract expressionism and delicate floral themes. The work is driven by an exploration of natural harmony and the translation of internal states into rhythmic arrangements of light and hue. Andriichenko's paintings are held in private collections across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Her portfolio reflects a continuous pursuit of freedom, transforming the canvas into a space for personal reflection and universal connection. After the war began in February 2022, she managed to transport over 200 paintings from Ukraine to Cologne, where the artist currently lives and works. 2023 - Winner of the "Artist of the Month" competition, Opulent Art Gallery, London, UK Personal exhibitions: 2024 - "Binariism by Svitlana Andriichenko" (Patron: Wolfgang Bosbach, former Member of the German Bundestag), GALERIA KÖLN, Hohe Str. 41-53, 50667 Cologne, Germany 2023 - "Color Palette by Svitlana Andriichenko," Cultural Center of St. Nicholas Church, Haguenau, Alsace, France 2022 - "Ukraine: Yearning for Color by Svitlana Andriichenko" (Patron: Wolfgang Bosbach, former Member of the German Bundestag), GALERIE FORUM LINDENTHAL (Art Curator: Dr. Hans Thomas), Cologne, Germany 2022 - "Metamorphosis by Svitlana Andriichenko," Water Tower Hotel Cologne, Curio Collection by Hilton, Cologne, Germany 2021 - “Matrix”, Svitlana Andriichenko Art Gallery, Cherkasy, Ukraine Group exhibitions: 2023 - “Winter Special Show”, The Stage Gallery, Bonn, Germany 2022 - “Selected Memories of Art”, Time of Art Gallery - Eleni Sakali, Athens, Greece 2022 - “Permafrost”, Galleria Cael, Milan, Italy 2022 - “Step into the Future”, “3D Innovative Art Gallery Experience”/Opulent Art Gallery, London, UK 2022 - “Make Art, Not War”, Martin Luther House Cultural Center, Cologne, Germany 2022 - “Festival Ethno Khutir 2022”, Tel Aviv, Israel Email: art.andriichenko@gmail.com Instagram: svit.andri / https://www.instagram.com/svit.andri?igsh=Y3FqNXRtZ2p6bnc4&utm_source=qr Pinterest: svitlanaandriichenko / https://pin.it/3EE3iICs6 Website: https://andriichenko.art YouTube: Svitlana Andriichenko Facebook: Svitlana Andriichenko
