Pair of brass gilt and porcelain candlesticks dating to 1850–1900, in Louis XVI style with a circular, beaded base and a baluster column featuring a hand-painted porcelain cartouche; 26 cm high and 10.5 cm wide, French origin, in good condition with age-related wear.

Pair of candle holders in gilded brass and painted porcelain, Napoléon III period, 19th century.
Elegant pair of candle holders in finely turned gilt bronze, resting on a circular base with a decor of beaded gadroons, typical of the Louis XVI style.
The baluster stem is adorned at its center with a cylindrical porcelain cartouche in white porcelain hand-decorated with multicolored floral motifs (blue, green, pink and purple).
French work from the second half of the 19th century, Napoléon III era, probably Parisian production known as "porcelaine de Paris."
Fine quality of chasing and old gilding preserved, with patina of the period.
Refined decorative piece ideal for a Haussmannian classical interior.
Good overall condition, normal wear to the gilding and small time marks in keeping with the age.
Small impact at the base, no cracks in the porcelain, see the photos as they are part of the description.
