A very old bottle of Buchanan’s De Luxe blended Scotch whisky - although the bottle and box are in fantastic condition for their age, the springcap closure leads us to estimate that this bottle dates from around the 1950s. Buchanan’s was one of the UK’s biggest blended whiskies when this dram was bottled; the De Luxe descriptor generally denotes the use of long-aged whiskies in the assemblage.
