Pair (2) of Vienna bentwood chairs with cane seats, made by Jacob & Josef Kohn in France, dating to 1910–1920, featuring bentwood frames and a black patinated finish with round cane seating.

Subject: Pair (2) of bentwood chairs with Vienna cane seats
Manufacturer / maker: Jacob & Josef Kohn (brands present)
Style: Viennese / Bentwood (steam-bent wood), café-bistro taste, late 19th–early 20th century (exact dating not verified)
Quantity in auction: 2 chairs
Important note: they come from an original total set of 16 chairs. The remaining chairs will be offered in separate lots of 2 (each auction = 2 chairs).
Identification and marks
The chairs bear visible authenticity marks:
• Paper label (label) from Jacob & Josef Kohn attached to the frame (see close-up photos).
• Fire-branded mark Jacob & Josef Kohn impressed on the wood (see close-up photos).
