Up for auction is a rare electromechanical precision instrument dating from 1973, manufactured in France by the renowned firm André Margerie.
Details and Conditions:
Interface: It features a main scale graduated from 1 to 6 with a pointer adjustable via the central chrome knob. The dial is enhanced by the '72 Tonnes' scale located at the bottom.
Aesthetics: Authentic "Industrial" design. The black dial with white silkscreen is protected by an original crystal. The inscriptions are engraved on the back.
Mechanical: At the rear there is a Crouzet synchronous motor (Made in France) and the original terminal block with the electrical contacts.
Condition: Excellent cosmetic condition for its age. Despite external cleaning, it retains all the original patina that certifies its authenticity.
A piece with a strong visual impact, ideal for collectors of vintage scientific instrumentation or as an industrial design element for lofts, offices or exhibitions.
