50 Pennia silver coin minted for the Grand Duchy of Finland under Russian Empire sovereignty, with the heraldic-style imperial double-headed eagle and a detailed, powerful symbolic presence. The relief is well defined, especially in the wings and the central shield, preserving original brilliance with a slight uniform silver patina. The fields show small marks typical of the grade, maintaining an overall fresh and appealing look. The reverse, with clear, balanced typography framed by a laurel and oak crown, reflects the aesthetic sobriety characteristic of early 20th-century Finnish issues, in a historical context marked by tensions prior to independence in 1917.
