In 1932 he began working with motion pictures and produced his first film, Arbeitslos. In 1936 Zielke produced the prologue for Leni Riefenstahl's film Olympiad. After World War II he worked as a translator in Potsdam and then returned to West Germany, where he worked as an industrial filmmaker, sometimes under the pseudonym Victor Valet.
