Description from the seller

Functionality: Excellent condition and excellent preservation – purse, home, and collector's storage at optimal temperature and humidity. The exterior is excellent and collector-grade: the viewfinder lenses are clean, the turret switch operates and locks securely without play. The viewfinder image is clear and sharp, free of distortion and aberration.

The KMZ (USSR, Krasnogorsk) turret viewfinder is a universal optical device (attachment) for rangefinder cameras designed to accurately determine frame boundaries when using interchangeable lenses. It features a rotating head with 5 positions (28, 35, 50, 85, 135 mm) and a straight prism system.

Description and Features
Design: The device consists of an eyepiece housing with a crosshair and a rotating drum ("turret") with five pairs of lenses. Functionality: Installs in the flash clamp (in place of the cold shoe) of Zorki or Kiev cameras.
Markings: The scale on the drum corresponds to the focal lengths of the lenses: 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 135mm.
Image: Direct, not reflex, achieved by a prism system.
Locking: The nosepiece positions are precisely locked, preventing accidental movement.

Purpose
A nosepiece viewfinder is necessary for shooting with rangefinder cameras whose standard viewfinder is designed only for a 50mm lens. When using wide-angle (28/35mm) or telephoto (85/135mm) lenses, an external viewfinder allows the photographer to correctly compose the shot and see the true boundaries of the image.
