Bang & Olufsen - Beomaster 4000 Solid state stereo receiver

Very nice big Beomaster. Sounds amazingly good. Carefully shipped! Very heavy! DESCRIPTION The Beomaster 4000 was positioned in the range above the Beomaster 3000-2. It offered, in addition to the 3000-2’s many facilities, built-in ambiophonic stereo switching, connections for a second tape recorder and most importantly, more power. Rated at 60W, the Beomaster 4000 was as powerful as the previous Beolab 5000 system. Advances in electronics and manufacturing technique had allowed the Beolab 5000’s capabilities to be included in a smaller, simpler, more elegant package, and so once again an amplifier with what was at the time a massive power output featured in the B&O range. Power output 2 x 60 watts/ 8 ohms 2 x 40 W / 4 ohms 2 x 100 W / 8 ohms 2 x 55 W / 4 ohms Speaker Impedance 4 ohms Harmonic Distortion < 0.06 % Intermodulation < 0.3 % Frequency Response 20 - 30000 Hz Signal-to-noise ratio > 58 dB Channel Separation > 45 dB Bass control: +/- 17 dB Treble control +/- 14 dB FM tuner: Range 87.5 - 104 MHz Power supply:110 - 130 - 220 - 240 V, 50 - 60 Hz Power Consumption: 20 - 275 W Dimensions W x H x D: 9.5 x 58 x 27cm Weight: 10 kg All functions tested and work. All lights work. Excellent Stereo FM reception. Very nice wood case. Incl. Din speaker plugs and input cable. Little surface rust spots on the bottom only. Signal meter does not move. The 2 speakers switches are always on. All outputs work. Pictures are part of the description
