Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Vanishing Point fountain pen with a plastic body and stainless steel components, made in Japan, one item, dating from 2000 to 2010, in good used condition with minor signs of age, retractable mechanism functioning, 141 mm long and 13 mm in diameter, with a 14K gold nib in very good condition.
Description from the seller
A0000003463
The pen is in excellent overall condition, showing evident care and very moderate use.
The lacquered body in bright red maintains a uniform, deep finish with a high level of gloss. No chips, cracks, or lacquer loss are observed. At a glance only very slight superficial micro-scratches can be seen, typical of careful handling and practically imperceptible at normal usage distance.
The gold-plated metal elements — clip, crown cap/button, central ring, and front section — show an intense and homogeneous shine. No plating loss or significant wear is observed. Only extremely light surface marks under direct light are visible, normal on a used piece, but not at all affecting its aesthetics.
The retractable mechanism works correctly: the push button operates firmly and precisely, with secure closure and proper alignment. The inner seal correctly seals the nib.
The 14K gold nib is in very good condition, with no deformations or visible alterations. The tines are properly aligned and the tip preserves its original geometry. No structural damage is observed.
No personalization or engravings.
Overall, this is a very well-preserved specimen, with minimal and normal signs of use, ideal for both collection and demanding daily use.
