Description from the seller

David-Andersen "Viking" Serving Fork | Original Box | Norwegian Silver Plate

An exceptional and rare find for collectors of Scandinavian design. This is a heavy-gauge Meat/Cold Cut Serving Fork from the world-renowned Norwegian silversmithy David-Andersen.This piece belongs to the iconic "Viking" Series, featuring a stunning, highly detailed relief of two knights on horseback. The motif is inspired by medieval Romanesque and Norse folk art, a hallmark of the mid-20th-century "Norsk Mønster"

This item appears never to have been used. There is no "plate loss" (wear to the base metal), and the high-polish finish remains brilliant.

High-Quality Standard: Marked "60G", signifying a premium Norwegian silver-plating standard (60 grams of fine silver used per standard set). This provides a deep, rich silver luster and durability.

Maker’s Pedigree: Clearly hallmarked "David-Andersen Norway".
