Imperial Russian Silver Cigarette Case – 84 Zolotnik – Hunting Scene – c. 1880–1910 Elegant Imperial Russian silver cigarette case, crafted in 84 zolotnik standard silver (875/1000) and dating to the late 19th–early 20th century. The lid is finely engraved with a rural hunting scene depicting a standing figure with dog beside a fence, framed by flowing foliate scrollwork. Specifications Weight: 96 grams Silver purity: 875/1000 Rectangular hinged form Engraved exterior, gilt interior Condition Good antique condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. Interior shows typical patina and wear to the gilding. The hinge functions correctly. There is a small split along one side seam, discreet and not immediately noticeable, consistent with age-related stress to the silver. It does not affect the structure or functionality of the case.
