Description from the seller
French Art Deco Pendant Lamp – Floral Moulded Glass – ca. 1930
Description
Authentic French Art Deco pendant lamp from the early 1930s featuring a beautifully moulded frosted glass bowl with stylised floral decoration.
The shade displays large Art Deco flowers with geometric centres and flowing petal relief, characteristic of French decorative glass production of the period. The glass has a warm amber / peach tone that produces a soft atmospheric glow when illuminated.
The relief work is crisp and well defined, with alternating textured and smooth areas that enhance the light diffusion.
The lamp is suspended by three twisted textile cords connected to a matching ceiling canopy. The suspension system and fittings are period style.
This model represents classic 1930s French decorative lighting — elegant, warm and highly decorative.
