Description from the seller
Art Deco Pendant Lamp – Frosted Molded Glass with Poppy Motif – France – ca. 1930
Elegant and refined Art Deco pendant lamp from the 1920s–1930s, executed in thick molded frosted glass with deep relief floral decoration.
The bowl-shaped shade features a dynamic swirling composition of stylised poppies and foliage radiating from the centre — a highly characteristic French Art Deco design. The relief carving is crisp and sculptural, creating beautiful light diffusion when illuminated.
The glass displays a warm amber/peach tone under light, enhancing the depth of the floral motif.
The lamp is suspended by twisted cords with an original silk-covered ceiling element, typical for French interwar lighting. The electrical fitting appears later but functions and can be replaced if desired.

Materials:
• Molded frosted glass

• Twisted textile suspension cords
• Metal fitting
