“ARCHEMISIO” is a contemporary painter famous for his hyperrealist oil-on-canvas works, where he blends photographic precision with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Growing up on the streets of Rome, from a young age he was fascinated by the Baroque masterpieces displayed in the city’s churches and museums, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and for the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Archemisio traveled across Europe and the United States, perfecting the hyperrealist technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style is distinguished by a Caravaggesque heritage: his works capture meticulous details (from the wrinkles of the skin to reflections on an object) but are immersed in a theatrical and directional light, which shapes the volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
