Crystal liqueur glasses from Bayel in their original box - tulip-footed stem - the cup is cylindrical in shape - each glass bears the stamp "Royale Champagne - Bayel 1666"
La Cristallerie de Bayel - located in Bayel, a small village in the Aube department - in the Champagne-Ardenne region - is the oldest crystal works in France - it was King Louis XIV who gave it this title - it has existed since 1666, hence its stamp and its name. Recognized for excellence in this quality of crystal - it has worked with major French crystal makers such as Baccarat or St. Louis - it specializes in the Art of the Table.
These glasses are new - two carry their original labels, as does the box.
Work entirely handcrafted.
Height 9 cm - base diameter 4.5 cm - drinking diameter 3.5 cm.
Box lined with fabric with recesses to hold the glasses - length 26 cm - width 21 cm - height 6 cm.
All together weigh 1 kg without packaging.
