Description from the seller
This console is a testament to 1980s custom design in Portugal. With an aesthetic that balances Cascais' rustic-chic style and the wrought iron craftsmanship, this piece was commissioned by a noble Lisbon family for their holiday residence.
Highlights
The Structure: The lightweight metalworking in steel stands out for its slim legs with volute (scroll) details, giving the piece an airy and classic elegance, typical of luxury garden furniture or manor holiday homes.
The Top: The soft wooden top is sealed with a protective resin layer, presenting a decorative geometric pattern in terracotta and ochre tones, which nods to traditional Portuguese azulejaria in a contemporary way.
Condition: The piece retains its original patina, being in excellent structural condition. The finish of the frame has a 'lived-in' look that reinforces its vintage character and history.
