Robert Mapplethorpe (American, 1946–1989) was one of the twentieth centuries most well-known photographers, particularly famed for his carefully composed studio flower still lifes in the 1980s. His flower images, like Poppy and Orchid, were originally color dye-transfer photographs, published in various portfolios of his work.
The glossy porcelain surface of these plates make for the perfect surface for these sublime images. These rare, limited edition, vintage collectibles are highly sought after and can be displayed on a stand or framed and hung on a wall. Each plate comes in a gift box.
