An exceptional and richly decorated bronze letter holder by O. Prachtausser, model number 13771. This striking decorative piece combines functionality with elaborate sculptural artistry, making it both a practical desk accessory and a refined collector’s item.

Crafted in the late 19th to early 20th century, this piece reflects the high-quality metalwork associated with O. Prachtausser. The front panel is adorned with intricate openwork featuring symmetrical heraldic griffins, scrolling foliage, and a central fleur-de-lis motif. The finely detailed handle and stepped base enhance its majestic, almost architectural presence. The warm aged patina adds depth and character, highlighting the precision of the casting and the richness of the relief.

Stamped underneath with “O. Prachtausser” and the model number “13771,” confirming its authenticity. One small nut has been replaced; it is located underneath and remains completely invisible when displayed.
