O. Prachtausser 13771 – Ornate Bronze Letter Holder with Heraldic Griffins
An exceptional and richly decorated bronze letter holder by O. Prachtausser, model number 13771. This striking decorative piece combines functionality with elaborate sculptural artistry, making it both a practical desk accessory and a refined collector’s item.
Crafted in the late 19th to early 20th century, this piece reflects the high-quality metalwork associated with O. Prachtausser. The front panel is adorned with intricate openwork featuring symmetrical heraldic griffins, scrolling foliage, and a central fleur-de-lis motif. The finely detailed handle and stepped base enhance its majestic, almost architectural presence.
